Sometimes I just want to remember my loved one. To share a story, a laugh or a tear that will honor and commemorate their life.
Remembering them can bring a flood of grief and sadness. However these emotions are not alone. The art of remembering also brings deep joy, love and appreciation for the existence of their cherished soul.
Remembrance has become part of my past and of my present journey. My loved one has not ceased to exist because the essence of their created life still lives and has become a part of me.
So when I remember my loved one, don’t assume I need your sympathy. I may just want you to remember the life that so greatly changed me.
